I want to know why recruiters ask me in an interview if I am looking at other opportunities, or if I am interviewing at other companies. If I say yes they will ask at what stage I am.

I just want to know the reason behind it and if there is a right answer to this question!

Currently interviewing for a role at Amazon that is listed as a CW position, but I have direct experience in the product and capabilities this role is seeking, and the hiring manager is moving me forward. What is the likelihood that if I tried to negotiate from a CW to FTE, I would get the position?

Interviewing fo FB for their content designer role! Got a couple questions:
1. Does FB sponsor visas? i'm on the E3, which is much easier to get than the H1B. No lottery involved.
2. What is the salary for a content designers with 4 years of experience? Glassdoor is saying ~135K. Is that right?

I had interviewed externally for a role on par w the internal roles, at a smaller and less established company. They confirmed +20% was in their range

How do I push back on my company if they offer less than that, if I do want one of those roles? Without a pay scale, what is the best way to approach?

I’m new on the job search and still employed. I’m looking to grow further in the logistics industry. While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. Should I even bother applying when there are more than 100 applications?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. So, I’m interviewing for a position that fits perfectly, HR likes my profile, had great conversations with them. Today I had a Panel interview with HR and the hiring manager. The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months. I was prepared but was out of breath the entire interview, had a knot in my throat, had trouble finding my words. It’s like I had PTSD when this manager came into the picture. Ever had that?

I thought referrals happen when the person being requested to refer you has personal faith in your talents due to knowing a thing or two about you/what you have to offer.
