Noob question on selling puts- I just sold a weekly put that I WANT to get assigned. The stock fluctuate a few dollars a day so I’m looking for a specific price to own the shares at vs entering a limit order. The stock has already gone below my selected strike price by a 30 cents today but I haven’t been assigned the shares 🤔. Is it only by expiration day or am I missing something?

Coming out of UG, I accepted my first job b/c I thought I had to based on status of other interviews. I’m asking to get my notice period waived. I have a 30 day notice period per the employment agreement I signed, but it says they can waive it at any time after I gave notice. Im not going to a competitor or even the same industry. How likely is for my current firm to allow this?

Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.
