We've had a few instances of possible COVID sick employees that returned with negative test results. Upper management is basically asking if there is something they can do to help control what employees are doing in their off time (ie. going to bars or other places with a lot of people). They even went as far as to mention something about a wedding that 3 of the employees are in together. Can an employer have ANY control over an employee's time off? It seems crazy to think that they think they can.
I keep hiring sales people who are super enthusiastic and overpromising on what they deliver. I put them through a trial month (no base + commission only) and they do not close a single deal, Even though the commission structure is amazing and I’m incentivizing them through the roof￼. We experienced sales people are asking for a base and commission but I’m scared that I’ll end up having a base and the same thing will end up happening.￼ What am I doing wrong?￼
