I am about to receive an offer from Barclays Pune AVP -35 L fixed. I have 13.5 yrs of exp and I had been asked to apply for the AVP role by my boss .I know there is one VP vacancy and 2 AVP vacancy in the same team that i am applying for. I know This is Bcoz I until very recently (2week back) was deputed to work for Barclays project as part of ibm consulting/GBS. Interview is already over. Offer letter to be received soon. Should I tell after receiving offer letter that I want VP? Too Late?

Currently SM at Bain (4 years post MBA) and was approached for a senior associate role in portfolio ops at a large PE fund. Been told 2.5 years to VP and another 2.5 years to director. Feels like the role is a bit junior but offers a 50% pay jump.

I need an advice/suggestion here. I got an offer from 2 different organisations and choose one among them (Role: Analyst) because of the culture and benefits. And the other offer has a good pay and good designation (Associate Consultant) rather than the one I choose. Now i feel very low due to this decision that I took. Should I break up with my girlfriend? We have been dating for close to 2 years and there are some things that have irked me (her lack of care around finances, talks about her exes, super insecure about her looks (complained to me when she was drunk last Friday how no guys bought her drinks, I wasn’t there), has a terrible relationship with her mom and dad and gets upset when I go out for the weekend to hangout with my mom (father died horribly last year and she has been alone).
