I am actively looking for another job that I otherwise like because I have to do group presentations virtually to C-Suite and other leaders every few months (I did not know I would have to do this beforehand and it's not typical for my industry). I pushed myself through a lot of them over the last 3 years but now I don't want to do them anymore. I feel I am being dramatic but I absolutely hate it. I have another one coming up in a month.

I wish organizations understood the untapped value of introverts. Why are we always forced to be like extroverts? Why is extroversion still automatically assumed to equate to strong leadership? I'm sad because I have built a lot of relationships and I'm otherwise very good and valued at my job, but I just cannot do another one of these presentations anymore. I can't do it. I'm so drained from them. I feel I can't ask to be taken off of them too because they're embedded in our processes....I don't really want to leave my job but I feel I am at my limit with the public speaking. I love being an introvert but I also hate it. I feel like there's no place for us in corporate America, in schools, and nobody seems to really understand us.

In my opinion it's very bold of you to be so honest. I can appreciate that .
Maybe if you could incorporate an assistant to embellish your presentation . Then the two of you could liven up your presentation and take some of the stress off of you .
Have a discussion with your boss ( if you're boss is approachable. ) Share your thoughts and explain you are losing your enthusiasm and it would certainly be a much more enjoyable presentation.
As for corporate America . In my opinion that is the extroverts. That is what corporate America is extroverts .
Introverts are the tortoises. We are the turtle . In our lives slow and easy wins the race ( and that's alright )
One thing that I have found to be missing in my life is to soften my heart.
You say that you are an introvert .
So be a introvert.
Boldly go where no man has gone before.

I feel you, i am an introvert too but i try to go outside the box by force i am not sure if it's okay or not

My dad used to tell me ' just because everyone else is jumping off the bridge does not mean that I have too '
You are you stay true to yourself.
If you do have something to add but are afraid to speak. Then you might want to join the international toastmasters club.
Toastmasters is a apprenticeship on how to speak effectively in a group of people
They meet once a week and it is alot of fun . There should be one in your area .
In my opinion if you're gut tells you not to do something then don't do it .
Now go out there and have some fun.

How do y’all deal with people at work who are stuck on stupid? Like they have no idea what they’re talking about and they REFUSE to learn. It’s like they have a god complex or something even with proof, maybe bc of their tenure at the company? Even if there’s valid data backing up that they’re wrong. Maybe it’s bc I’m a type 8 enneagram, but it frustrates the hell out of me!
So any advice would be lovely :)

Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. Is this what people consider negative work culture?

I have a interview scheduled for Data Scientist job can any one suggest me. I am looking for a career transition to Data Science domain.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

Why are HRs getting so proactive towards year end for employees RTO, when it’s mostly IT shutdown everywhere . Even clients are not there what will the employees do ? Spring cleaning in offices ???!!!
