McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

A paid, remote HR Internship might be hard to come by. HR internships in general are difficult to land you may need to accept going into an office space if you want something paid
Congratulations! What specific HR role are you interested in? Have you checked LinkedIn for some internship programs?
Do you have any firm or company in mind? A referral for your internship may help. It has been tough finding jobs and internships lately.
It’s a little difficult to perform HR duties remote. Many companies want their HR associates in office to help manage the business in person. I’d say for entry level positions try to look towards smaller companies that will provide you with the most valuable experience. Larger companies usually expect more skills up front, whereas smaller companies are more willing to teach and mentor. Even though these positions are not paid now, after participation in the internship they may extend paid offers later, so it may be beneficial to do them. Putting yourself out there in other job sites like Indeed, Handshake, or Workday could be beneficial as well. Best of luck!!
So I actually do have quite a bit of experience, just on a much smaller scale than what I’m trying to pursue. I have many friends who work in recruiting and all work remote or else I wouldn’t be trying! I live in a very rural area where the biggest city to me is an hour and a half away unfortunately. Thanks for sharing other websites! I’ll definitely look into those!
Thank you! I would be okay with any role to get my foot in the door but feel like I would really enjoy eventually being an executive recruiter. I have checked LinkedIn and have applied to quite a few but none are paid. I just worry future employers will not consider those internships as beneficial.
I don’t! 😩
