I am looking to start my career in project management (prefer IT PM but open to anything that will help build experience). I have run some projects in the past, and managed team builds and deployment for client projects. I finished my Google Project management Cert and my Business Analytics Cert from Wharton. I am still finding it difficult to land interviews in tech and even other industries. Any advice for the job search, resume, etc for someone looking for their first role? Anything helps!

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.
