Nine months on the job, 2019 graduate, feeling very ill-equip and self-conscious about making mistakes. My review went well, just had one partner who is generally difficult to get a hold of and who doesn’t actually respond say I need to ask more questions. How do I get out of this rut of feeling useless and like I’m not contributing to my job?

When consultants say they work 70 hrs a week, do they include the traveling time in that number? Or is it 70 hrs of actual client work i.e. excluding travel, admin work etc.?

Just like every other guy, it’s my dream to settle in the USA or any equivalent location. My problem is that I am not confident enough. I started preparing for CAT, failed miserably. I was demotivated. My job started paying me good money so I blindly upskilled myself technically. It’s been a while. I am not sure if my company can send me abroad and hence I am planning to go for MS or MBA. Continued in the comments.

Just received a new of one of the former senior manager passed away due to a massive heart attack. Early 40s. I am at loss of words. Such a genius of a guy. Amongst the most hard working people I have come across. I still can’t believe the news. Cannot even fathom what his family might be going through.
