I am not sure this is the right bowl, but I need some advice. I am on an F1 visa w/ OPT so I took the most feasible job that I was able to do a couple months ago. But I don't like being in the lab or cleaning animal cages and stools every single day. It pays my bills and my rent, but I am so done with it. I want a normal office job or medical/lab device related jobs. But I can't even get interviews or so. I am open to relocate within the US. I appreciate any advice and help!

I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst in Amex and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?

I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary. I really do not prefer one company over the other. They’re both great! I’m very confused here. TIA🙏

Negotiation in new offer: I’m moving from fully remote to fully in office (with chance of hybrid later) offer for associate director in quality in pharma for 170k base, 18% bonus and 75k equity. I’ve asked for a sign on bonus as I’m not eligible for annual next year and will be missing my current jobs bonus. I should hear tomorrow (asking for 28k). Thoughts about the offer? Should I ask for more equity or is that standard? They’re public (currently ~$20)should I get the hybrid option in writing?

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

I think this offer is well below par, but curious to hear what you guys think/if you have any comparisons?
