I am posting this here because today, we are surrounded by this concept and we are told that it is our path to financial freedom. Please do not fall for the trap. I remind myself first because I know how close I became before Allah allowed this to come up on my timeline:

I pray Allah (S.W.T) blesses you all with barakah in every area and aspect of your lives. I have learnt the hard way that disobeying Allah (S.W.T) only leads to stress, sadness, fear, anxiety and heartache. I was watching many videos on how to grow my wealth. I need to earn money and was tempted to put money away in accounts that I knew would earn interest but this video reminded me that if Allah (S.W.T) should declare war against me, no one is capable of defending me against His (S.W.T)'s punishment
I don't say this to preach to anyone but I sincerely hope it helps someone because Allah (S.W.T) has promised that whoever fears Allah, He (S.W.T) will make a way out for him and provide for him from sources he never imagined. I have experienced this and know that Allah, The Owner of the Heavens and the Earth, is capable and never ever fails in His (S.W.T)'s promise
Stay strong and pray to be among those who will hold on to faith even when it feels like holding on to hot coal
