I am under a very toxic boss. She set out to fire me this quarter. I am PM in a tech company and worked hard to get here. Now she has been targeting me to fire. I am applying outside for last 3months, not even a call for PM positions. Going back to SDE positions. Got a position in a slow company through friend with 0stress but pay is 60k less. Going from 170k+RSU to 120k as a developer but stable and 0stress. Should I take it? Worried I am going backwards in my career. But can’t afford no job.

I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? How will this look for my career development? Curious about the standard perception of Sales Executive from a seniority perspective. Where does this land on the sales roles hierarchy? For context, it’s a professional services firm, I’ve been there 3+years, and they gave a Sales Executive title to someone who just started 5mo ago.

I have a question regarding taxation of joining bonus.

I recieved a joining bonus of 1 lakh from my previous employer in last fiscal year which was taxed.
I resigned from the organisation before completing 1 year... Which will be deducted from my last month salary.
How does taxation works in this case.

So my fiancé and I are having a microwedding in Rocky Mountain National Park next year, and we’re working with an elopement planner.

I was reading it out loud while my fiancé made dinner, and it just hit me that this is really happening. I’m just really happy that I found someone who is willing to take a vow to spend his life with me and I’m so excited for that day :)
