I applied and had initial phone screen with my resume showing current for my last role. A few days after, my position was eliminated. I was right to be searching! I wasn’t asked and didn’t bring it up in interviews, but I spoke about the job in past tense and sent a thanks email with updated resume attached showing the end date. The difference is under 3 weeks of a discrepancy. Do you think I need to proactively address this before a background check? How to frame it? Don’t want to look suss.

Started a new job a year ago, high performer. My manager suggested a promotion to Product Manager since that‘s the work I’m doing, but that would be a 50% raise. Higher ups decided instead to make a “new role” (not PM), that has no analog in the company and is hard to price via Glassdoor, etc. I feel like this is to limit my promotion salary to something like 10% from where it currently is. I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. Hi all. I just received an offer for $130k and will be eligible for about 29,000 shares of stock options. The vesting schedule is 1 year and then quarterly thereafter.
