I applied to W and HBS r1, dinged from HBS but got a full ride to W (which im extremely grateful for). I have to say that I never put a lot of thought into school selection and just shot for M7 not really thinking about fit or future goals, the only reason I didnt apply to more R1 is because i ran out of time. I was planning to apply to GSB, CBS, Kellogg, MIT R2 but I'm wondering is it worth it now? Even if there is a school that i might "fit into" better, is it worth turning down $$$$?

Looking to apply to MBB at 1-2 YOE after undergrad. Undergrad GPA isn’t bad, but not MBB quality. Will it help if I take the GMAT early and include the score on my app? How high is good enough? 750+?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Recommender asked me if I wanted to write my LOR and have them sign off. I don’t think it’s a matter of laziness but they wanted to be sure they accurately captured what they needed to. Would you just ask her to run a first pass and offer to review after?

Only just realized that we don’t get admission decisions until a set date for most schools. 3 month wait for Yale/Tuck is going to kill me

Are Tuck and Darden really much better for consulting than other schools? Yeah they have that rep but it seems they have more students recruit for MBB so overall success rate into these firms isn’t much higher than other schools.

Is this year really more difficult or am I just looking for excuses for myself?
