I arrested a woman last week at a store for counterfeit money. She told me she thought she heard about a new law that says the government is printing new money! I wish I could just print my own money. LOL, what is the best criminal story you have this week?

It's not surprising that you heard that - believe it or not, I've heard the same thing recently! It must be one of these conspiracy theories.

Really, that is funny!

Do you think it's really possible she didn't know any better? A lot of people are falling for gimmicks like that. This week I had to deal with a guy who had set up camp in someone's backyard (big plot of land with evergreens in teh back). Guy was convinced he had reserved the "campsite" even after I explained that it was someone's private backyard.

Ummm I guess you really don't know with people and what they truly believe. Maybe she truly did believe it.

How do you arrest a person for counterfeit money? Theres got to be more factors than passing funny money.

If anyone is interested in taking a summer trip to Myrtle Beach from 7/29-8/5, I am renting out my timeshare with Marriott's OceanWatch Villas at Grande Dunes. This resort is right on the beach and offers many fun activities for the whole family! The two-bed, two-bath condo has a fully furnished kitchen and can fit up to 8 people. I am ideally looking for someone to rent it out for the entire week for about 3K total. Message me for more information!

Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Have 50k in a checking account at a local bank getting no returns. I like having liquid assets since I support currently myself & girlfriend and any unexpected expenses my mother & younger brother have. Any advice how to calculate what I should keep on reserve vs. invest + learn about consequences of pulling investments early (more tax, fees, etc.). I feel like the inability to access funds when my family needs it has been the reason I haven’t invested outside of 401k and have this cash reserve
