I called out for a mental health day today because I’ve been working 60-hour weeks and I’m at my breaking point. My manager actually sighed over the phone and asked if I realized how much this would hurt the rest of the team. Now I’m spending my day off feeling guilty and anxious instead of actually resting. Why do toxic workplaces make you feel like taking care of yourself is a personal attack on the company?

Lately, I've been hearing a lot from my peers about how sales isn't a real profession.
I work at a tech startup and it mostly comprises developers. They can't stop emphasizing their importance in the food chain and I can't figure if I'm too humble or they're too arrogant.
