Been here 6 years and thriving! If it doesn’t work for you, move on!
Because my career is moving along great, that means I’m a problem?
So far, as everywhere, seems very dependent on your manager. But! Lots of financial losses happening, less raises, smaller bonuses, reduced/collapsing pay ranges and outsourcing. Leadership brags about attrition and cuts last few townhall meetings. I know a handful of people in different departments all looking outside of the bank for their next hop.
It is a terrible place to work. Especially if you are in operations.
I’ve worked at a number of firms on the street and WF has by far the worst culture.
It’s been pretty great so far where I am
Just got here, under 2 years in the co. 6 on this role and love it. Wf is at the turning point that I feel good about staying, I’ve seen this changes in other places and I’m confident this will. Contribute to my retirement account and advancement!
Rising Star
Scam culture running deep over there?
Been here for 7 years, and got a chance to work on different transformation projects. Started at $105k, and now at almost $200k in MCOL region. Also great work life balance..Strong performances don’t go unnoticed..
Let’s not make blanket statements about an org..And there is always an option to move out, if you don’t like it ..
I love Wells Fargo! I’ve also worked at BofA and will say WF has been pretty good to me. I promoted myself and learned whatever I could and networked. It is what you put into it!
What’s wrong with BOFA???
Finally an honest review
Conducted two meetings with them, and the impressions remain consistent. I'm contemplating if this operational approach is pervasive across all banking organizations.
It’s such a massive company that it try depends on the team and manager. Some have great culture and leadership!
I see everyone’s different opinions, but you all have jobs.
I’m actually looking to make my way into WF or BOA and would be grateful for a referral as I was laid-off from Citi.!
10+ years of process improvement, project management and leadership exp. MBA , Six Sigma Black Belt.
If anyone of you all don’t want your current job, I’d be happy to take it off your hands. 😂
Awesome, thats good to now. Thank you again!
Any additional info? Saying this on comp day makes me think that you’re saying this due to a disappointing raise/bonus, which is a valid reason to be upset if you feel that you deserved more, but seems a bit department specific
It really depends on your team, and the people you work with. There are always some toxic teams somewhere, and some great teams.
Don't believe Wells when they say they have changed for the better and all their problems are behind them, There are still bad practices that have not been disclosed or discovered yet. They still have some Dirty Secrets!!
Anyone worked or working in Strategy and Planning at WF have experiences to share?
I agree 100%. Wells Fargo is the worst!! Don't say you were not warned in advance.
