I cannot pass BEC and I am feeling defeated at this point. I am not sure if I should re take it or take my loss and just study for a focused session next year. This is my 4th attempt.

Sanity check. Going to preface this by saying I'm not in a rush. I wanted to get some good consulting experience so joined EY out of UG. Got early promo, but I've reached the point where I'm no longer growing (learning) much on my current team. I've become very interested in PE and want to give that a shot. I lack the resume experience.

Thinking to move within EY to an M&A focused group SaT or EYP. Do ~2 years and see if I still want that. Will that tick the box for most PE shops?

They like “home grown” talent and I “be worked hard and risen relatively quickly (AGC in 9 years). I work hard and get a lot of complicated deals done (structured products and private funds). For those working in house, how much “from scratch” document drafting are you doing vs. reviewing and revising “outside documents”. For example, if your company wants to enter into a joint venture company with another entity, are you drafting the company agreement “from scratch” or is it based on internal forms? I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?

Does anyone know if they suspend the fee for pushing back an exam? My exam is on Friday and I want to push it back by two weeks and it says zero fees, but I want to take a mock tomorrow to make sure I want to push it back and I don’t want to pay a fee since it’s 3 days before

Do you think that I will get job offers after I pass the CPA exam? Not one compony will even give me a chance because I don’t have experience, even though I have passed some of the exams already.

Studying for FAR and it gives me so much anxiety. There’s just so much information. I’m taking notes and reading. I don’t plan on listening to the lectures but I feel like I’m moving so slow. Advice?

Is BEC doable in 2.5 weeks while working full time - 40 hours? I plan on dedicating 3 hours each weekday and 12 hours each weekend day. I most likely will also have a bit of time during working hours.

Really wish I never purchased 'Ultimate CPA Exam Guide' through Bryan Kesler. Waste of $708. I've been completely duped. Stick with official CPA materials and NINJA. "UCEG" Method is practice & review
