I cannot pass BEC and I am feeling defeated at this point. I am not sure if I should re take it or take my loss and just study for a focused session next year. This is my 4th attempt.

So I find the program you used for BEC is hit and miss. I had Becker but someone told me they were awful for the IT portion of it. They were good for the cost portion but that’s it. I ended up using ninja and Becker. Ninja had like 1k questions that I literally did over and over again. I did it to the point where I was averaging 80-90% on the questions in the unit. When it came time for the actual exam, the questions were insanely similar. I definitely would’ve failed had I just used Becker. Now, this was circa June 2020 when I took it and Becker may have gotten better. I will say this, Ninjas sheer amount of questions for IT helped a ton and would definitely buy it. Good luck!

I don’t think it’s possible to retake tbh. I believe the deadline to get your NTS for BEC has passed

Hey Fishers, how/where to prepare for a job switch for 3-4 YOE?

Sanity check. Going to preface this by saying I'm not in a rush. I wanted to get some good consulting experience so joined EY out of UG. Got early promo, but I've reached the point where I'm no longer growing (learning) much on my current team. I've become very interested in PE and want to give that a shot. I lack the resume experience.

Thinking to move within EY to an M&A focused group SaT or EYP. Do ~2 years and see if I still want that. Will that tick the box for most PE shops?

For those working in house, how much “from scratch” document drafting are you doing vs. reviewing and revising “outside documents”. For example, if your company wants to enter into a joint venture company with another entity, are you drafting the company agreement “from scratch” or is it based on internal forms? Or are you getting outside counsel to do it?
