I completed MBA in 2019 , with with Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Statistics . I am good with Python ,SQL , R , and PHP also verse with tools like Power BI and Tableau . I have done it all with interviews .I recently moved from Nigeria to Canada , and this is my third month of Job search .What am I doing wrong?

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Anyone know of an alternative to StackOverflow for asking tech questions?
