I currently have a job as a marketing analyst at a small but well-known CPG company. I feel like the growth opportunities are limited and feel like I could be learning much more at a bigger company in Chicago. My lease ends here in July, and I am thinking about moving home which is in the suburbs of Chicago without a job lined up.

Is this the right decision? I am not entirely sure that the marketing world is for me and I miss my family and do not want to live here anymore.

Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.
Also would leaving IBM after 1 year look bad on CV?
