My AA flights are all on time (knock on wood). That bin space tho...
I know many here shit on southwest but I love my 10000 point flights and companion pass.
Let’s be honest they’re all the same when it comes to delays
Wait...other airlines don’t have overhead bin space issues??
Love southwest so much, especially for sub 3 hour flights.
@kpmg I wish EY allowed southwest as a preferred airline! I love them too! Also, their cancellation policy is 💯. Don’t understand why we can’t fly them. Hate to not get the credits for personal flights with American but strongly prefer SW
WN is listed in our travel portal, but we're only supposed to use it for flights that are significantly (ie hundreds of dollars) cheaper than the other airlines.
Damn shame because I think they're the only flights between my client site and home Christmas weekend that have decent seats left
Yeah I justify booking southwest because (1) I travel too much to not fly the airline I want and (2) I constantly have to move my flight due to client meeting changes. The amount I’d pay in tso and airline change fees with other airlines would easily match my Southwest fares.
American is the worst I gave up on them
United has similar issues with bin space. Limited delays for me this year tho
I’ve been flying only american for the last 7 week and only had 1 flight cancelled (bad storms in nyc) and one 30 min delay! But I also take the first and last flights of the day and don’t have layovers
My AA flight was 30 minutes early to MCO when I flew home for thanksgiving. We even pushed back early after boarding started late. Shocking, I know
My delta flights are delayed more than American
Predictably, there is statistically significant, non-anecdotal data available: https://www.transtats.bts.gov/ONTIME/Airline.aspx
Choosing 1/1/2017 to present, AA has an 80.7% systemwide on time percentage. Everyone will have varying luck with any carrier.
I hit executive platinum upon my arrival to the states (today) and made plat pro on segments. No cancelled flights this year, very few delays.
At EY1 are you sure you can’t book southwest through a southwest biz portal instead of your tso? That is what we are told to do.
My sis is an audit manager at EY and I could have sworn she takes southwest a fair amount.
Just landed. It's the small stuff. Why does a flight that should take 2 hours actually take 3.5 gate to gate? (includes a 30 min none-explained reason)
@Op airlines don’t control how long it takes to taxi typically, that’s the airport. Which route do you fly?
95% of my AA flights have been on time this year
I had to fly American tonight bc I missed the last southwest flight out for the evening. I don’t know how you guys do it. Everything made me miss southwest. Everything.
