I finally got that call after my last interview and they offered me the job. After weeks of waiting, second guessing, and wondering if anything would actually come from it, hearing yes felt unreal. It reminded me how important it is to stay positive even when the search feels endless and discouraging. All the interviews and applications add up eventually. If you are still looking, keep going because you never know when that call is coming. What kept you motivated during your own job hunt?

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?

Interviewing with a commodity trading firm that will match my consulting TC but with a much higher bonus component (30% vs 5-10% currently).
In B4, I have ended up with 0% bonus in the bad years. Can Industry bonuses be that variable too?

I applied to an experienced consultant position at Bain and just heard back. Yesterday, I received an invite to a HireVue one-way interview to complete. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes. Can anybody offer some insight into each of these/the process?

I have cleared technical interview at @EXL and have also given another round of interview with VP.
