Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. He also mentioned that I should reapply in 6 months. Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I have a better chance if I reapply next time?McKinsey & Company

Two hours per day is a pretty massive commute. If you're very excited about the job and think it could really lead to something great, it's definitely worth potentially relocating. Especially if it's going to save you upwards of 8 hours per week, which is basically another day of unpaid work per week.

Hybrid can help in such cases
That's a long commute, though we have a way of getting used to things like that. Podcasts and audiobooks make commuting interesting if not pleasurable. If you get the new job and you love it, you might as well move also.
Definitely good to consider. Thank you!

My new job is also far and that will take 2 hrs commute for just 18k raise. Is that worth it?
For me, there’s no way I could justify that amount of time commuting. But only you know your personal situation and perhaps this is what you need right now, regardless of the time constraints re: the extended commute. Good luck!

For me, I’d weigh things like work-life balance, costs, and long-term growth, if I am getting that even though the commute looks stressful, I'd take the job.
