What to do in this case... Go for JPMC?? Or other org?? Tavisca JPMorgan Chase
Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

I am not an immigration expert but there was a rapid movement of priority dates for Indian and Chinese nationals in 2020 since the previous administration had stopped issuing new GCs through consulates then due to the pandemic. Most of the people affected were spouses or dependents of US citizens (family quota) and these numbers were moved to the employment category. These rules have been revoked now and I think the only travel ban in place is for flights from India which applies primarily to non-immigrants (citizens and GC holders can still travel).
If you have your information on rapid movement of dates from a reputed source or from an informed attorney, it may make sense to wait, otherwise take the offer.
Disclaimer: again I am no immigration expert
Yeah its a hit or miss. Charlie Oppenheim from department of state informed that there will be extra 130k GC available for EB categories this year which is Oct 2021.
But whether that 130K extra GC push the dates beyond May 2016 is a million dollar question. So honestly I don’t know whether to wait or proceed with the offer.
Thats why I am looking for options to hold offer instead of denying it, so I can accept offer if the dates dint move in September.

2-3 months? Unless you are moving in as a special talent/SME or partner or with predictable health condition no company holds position for that long

No, initiate the process that takes a while and delay the process are different things. By starting the process such as visa transfer, HR confirmed the HC and your availability.
I think March 2016 is hard with 130k. Low chance of even EB3 hitting that PD. If the offer is good and if they will sponsor, take it. Even if the date becomes current, don't think it will retrogress and you will be ready to apply concurrently once perm by the time perm is approved.
Why low chance? Last year eb3 hit 2015
