Feeling really overwhelmed and wondering if anyone else has struggled with something similar: I’ve been with the same company for about three years and I feel like it’s time for a change of pace. Poked around on LinkedIn and there wasn’t a single listing I was interested in that I felt genuinely qualified for. Did I somehow fall behind or does everyone just have unrealistic expectations?

We calendar court deadlines and internal deadlines. Why do associates disregard internal deadlines?

I’m at a mid size transactional firm. I’m a total night owl and my partners have OK’d me starting the workday at around 11am because I regularly work until midnight or later. I get so much more done after dark! I still get some side eye from other associates, but 🤷🏽‍♀️

Really trying not to spiral, and my practice group leader has been openly hostile to and dismissive of me lately. I haven’t mentioned my depression/anxiety to him because we’re not exactly getting along swimmingly, but I don’t know who else to talk to about my MH. Fighting with my wife hasn’t helped either. Really not sure how to handle it aside from counseling but that isn’t getting me anywhere fast. Thoughts?
