I got the news from recruiter that I did great in the loop and the team was inclined for an offer. However, the position I applied for was filled prior to my debrief. So the recruiter is trying to find another team to fill me in with a similar position (Business Analyst L5).
I wonder if anyone is familiar with this situation, and how long did it take for you to get an official offer. What should I do other than contacting my recruiter for other similar positions and wait?

Do all PM interviews have case study and strategy questions? Have you had an interview where you weren’t presented with them? I have two panel interviews with the same company coming up and was just curious!

I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.

I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal?
