I had somebody tell me that their company has several small social events every month or so, but that they have a company-wide ski trip and beach trip once a year. Apparently, things close down for Thursday and Friday and then their trip is Thursday-Sunday. I thought this was so cool, but my company doesn't provide social events often. I would love for this to change, so I am going to propose some ideas. What are some fun social things that your company has for employees?

Traveling projects make it hard to plan vacations in advance. Some projects are all over the place travel-wise. You guys have any strategies or tips around this?

I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?
