I have 30 years' experience in the QSR industry, a Veteran, and 10 years in Law Enforcement, but looking for a job today is really rough. All I am asking is the chance to sit down with a hiring manager, and share my background, and experience, and then they can decide whether I would be a good fit, not some AI program, that scans your application and rejects you because you don't fit the algorithms.

I interviewed with Citi's internal audit last week and they said after the interview was over I would hear back next week. So far, crickets. I kind of need a job right now. The jobs site still says "business review" as far as application status goes.

When will I find my passion? I’m a criminal prosecutor chasing PSLF (5 years left). I am just not that into it. My wife is a teacher and loves her job so much she could work 16 hour days. I am jealous. My passion is my family and my job is just a paycheck. How can I figure out what I really want to do? Do I want to get that obsessed with work? Help!
