I have 5 yoe in consulting and data analytics within FS and Tech, and I’m looking to join Barclays. I’ve mostly come across mixed reviews.

How are things currently at Barclays in terms of wlb, culture, job security, career progression, and internal politics?

I previously worked in the UK for two years and had a great experience, but I’m hearing that Barclays might be quite political and toxic now. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Also, what kind of salary should I realistically expect?

Got a verbal offer from the Partner. He wants to bring me in and asked my expectations. I told him a 140K with Manager position. The role was for a senior with probably a lower comp range but he said we can work it around and will talk to the recruiter.

1-assessment and i got the completion message and confirmation
2-after that interview went very well
3 - hr discussion with salary , ready to initiate my offer in 2 hr
But she called me in a minute on Friday and told me that you need to give the test again.


After 3 days on monday -today
Someone called me from hr and told me you have to appear for all the things again.

I am trying to negotiate an internal base increase. Context is that I am at a FinTech following a key strategic and successful M&A in which I was the sole program manager. For reference I have 3 years of experience and have been offered a 10% base increase as a part of my promotion (current salary is 120k). I feel this is quite low given the market but would really appreciate any input

My family mistreated me when I was younger, and now that I don’t live at home, they don’t call or bother to look for me, because frankly, I think they have a hard time admitting what happened - and will never apologize to me either. If I don’t call, or occasionally go see them during the holidays, we would never talk. Some of them are growing old (health-wise), and I’m scared this entire situation is just irreparable. I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.

Since iOS 14 changes, Facebook ads isn't the same anymore. Why?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.
