I have 8+years of experience and 5years as a PM. I have worked for 5 companies until now out of which one is only for 3 months. Because of this, I am being neglected in the job applications. Is it ok to remove this experience from my resume and LinkedIn? It is genuine reason that my father met with an accident and I had to do WFH and my employer didn't allow post 3 months of joining. After that 3months job I worked with one company for 1.5years and another for 10months now. Any thoughts on this?

I'm a baby UX designer and am curious how others landed their first gig? I'm in GA's 6 month program and we haven't developed portfolios, is it possible to get an entry level position with just work samples?

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

My boss (exec director) and I need to come up with a schedule strategy. We work in a hybrid setting, 1-2 days in office, the rest remote. As you all know, the days fill up quickly with travel, meetings and requests internal, external, new partners etc. Fridays are usually off limits to schedule anything unless it’s super important or really no way to work around it. have you seen something, created or implemented a strategy/guideline that would free up more time? They paid for my travel to their headquarters for in-person training. After interacting with my manager and some of the attorneys, I feel like I made a mistake. Manager is demeaning and rude. I have an MBA from the University of Chicago, not that it matters much in sales. I have always been in a consulting role but I think I can make more in sales. My company is actually pretty damn great to work for. So many love it, but our pay is low compared to the rest of the financial sector, and so when people with great experience come knocking, HR denies them because the ask is outside the price range. So mangy managers are pushing back but damn. Why shoot yourself in the foot like that?
