I have a BTech in CSE and ~2 years work experience in technology consulting. I will be starting an ABC/FMS/ISB/XLRI tier MBA program next year with the goal of breaking into product management.

What can I do in the meantime to maximise my chances of landing such roles? Would it be a good idea to join a product management bootcamp (Upraised/HelloPM/Airtribe etc)? Would the portfolio I build during these programs hold any weight during on-campus recruitment?
