I have a call with a recruiter on Monday. I can get a pretty good referral in to the hiring manager. Do I wait until I get offered the chance to meet the hiring manager to ask for the referral?

So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?

I’m highly disappointed about the fact that whenever I talk to the HR teams or recruiters about joining bonus, they state there’s no provision. However, my male colleagues or ex co-workers who interviewed for the same position where offered a joining bonus. This has happened to me twice now and I’m starting to believe something is wrong in the system or there is some kind of biased against women at certain workplace.

Serious question: why work in advertising if you’re not a creative? I know plenty of smart account people, strategists, data analysts etc. who would almost certainly make more money and enjoy more autonomy in a different field, or at least in-house.
