I have a Director of Liability Claims offer in Texas and I'm wondering reasonably, what I should or could expect compensation wise. I'm thinking of a base of at least $150k? Am I shooting too high? It's a 10+ plus year experience role, a required P&C license and a Bachelors and AIC certification which I have all and then some. Any help would be great!

Depends on where it is in Texas. DFW and Houston pay market, San Antonio does not. You'll have a harder time getting paid fairly there.

How do I bring this up as the supervisor mentioned that we shouldn’t be talking about our raises.

Hi All! Looking for some advice. I am a manager a country club but I do everything. I’m in charge of outside events and member events, in charge of the front of house staff, scheduling, ordering and membership sales for the club. I feel I am very underpaid at $45k. I do get commission but it’s very low ($10k give or take for the year). I work 6/7 days a week sometimes 10+ hrs/day. I’ve been researching salaries to be able to negotiate higher pay. I want to ask for $60k-is this reasonable?

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…
