What does your gut feeling say? There must be some reason you should be able to gauge. Are there any blind spots? If not, then could you have conversation with your skip level boss? It’s possible your role may be redundant and this new boss is trying to prove her worth by downsizing the team.
It’s hard and frustrating when suddenly you are at recieving end. Stay observant I must say
People can not like you for all sorts of reasons. Insecurities, self projection, even you just reminding them of someone they used to know and dislike. None are ok but it happens and it can be even more difficult to prove it. I would try not to take it personal and roll with the team change to get way far from them. Them asking for you to switch teams will eliminate your source of stress without you really having to do anything to make it happen.
Thank you
If other people are noticing it, it’s getting out of hand. Especially if she is so brand new. I would have a recorded meeting with her. Be like I want us to work well together, how can I facilitate a better working relationship? Do you have any concerns about my work? Let her talk, talk, talk, and hopefully she just says the same things again that there is no problem yadda yadda. And then when she inevitably tries to get you ousted you have proof that she is full of it.
