I have a question. I currently have three offers. I accepted the KPMG offer because they gave me only one week to make a decision. However, during my notice period, I received two more offers, and now I’m leaning toward joining another company.

How do people generally handle this situation? Is it common to decline a company after accepting the offer letter but before joining? How would you professionally communicate that decision to the recruiter or hiring manager?

Curious to hear thoughts. How many rounds of interviews do you consider acceptable/helpful for a new role? And would you refuse an interview if it went beyond a certain number?

Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere. I’ve given a detailed summary of all of my expenses yet every month one family member in particular comes to me for rent money (not some, the full amount, and they refuse to get a job). It has become quite the burden.

Today I got an call from HR that due to economic recession we are going to delay your date of joining by 2 months. My notice period was of 3 months. So total duration would be 5 months.
