I have a question... I have a verbal offer of JPM and now they will start there background checks. At a previous role, I was not confirmed into the role whilst on probation and it was a mutual decision for me to leave as the role was not the one I wanted to do or believed I would be doing. I have been open with the team whilst interviewing so this is not new info. Will the background check flag this as a dismissal. It was not a dismissal as such I didn't pass the probation. what do checks ask?

Researching the job mkt & pay for nursing: It is so easy to set up a first interview esp. as a nurse. Set up a zoom meeting, in the zoom meeting ask abt job details and ask for the salary range. They will give it to you, and in my case it was the same range for both of the companies. (Hospice oncall nurse here👋). Then you fit in somewhere on that continuum based on education & experience—that where the negotiation comes in—they will make a case to place you as low as possible on the scale.
