I have a question would love a honest answer I am ACCA student and went for a job interview. The person who was conducting interview found out I am ACCA and he was a ICAI member. Throughout the interview i felt he was looking down on me. I recently talked about this with a friend and he said generally ICAI and ICAP accounting members dont give ACCA students and important. Is this true?

Looking for some advice; I've been a paralegal for about 5 years now, and the past year or so has been hard. One firm closed, which dropped me in another firm which was never good for me, and then into another with a culture that was really unhealthy to me. Dad passed away 2 months ago. I traveled to India and stayed for 2 months, dealt with significant red tape to close his cards, loans, transfer pensions, etc. A succession certificate is WIP for one of his accounts, so mom decided to stay back until it’s done. Mom has always refused to hire a maid, loves to hoard, cleans superficially, the house is always a mess when I visit and all my India trips are spent cleaning including this one.
