Is it a state you'd actually like to move to? If so, I wouldn't pass on a better title and pay. Especially if you're young. Once you're in your 30s, it becomes a lot more difficult to pack up and move. Nowhere near as big a deal when you don't have kids, family or a house, and speaking from experience, getting out of your comfort zone is a great thing.

NYC. Good for the industry but not ideal for me. I need to ask for an NYC salary if I move there. Very true with a kids family and house it’s nearly impossible especially if you’re not the breadwinner
I think it depends on your situation. Can you easily relocate and move? Or would you be moving an entire family, kids, etc.? I think you should factor in all of those things before making a decision.

No family yet just me! But have a lease I would have to break so a few thousand dollars. I think it’s weighing the risk of if I’ll like the job and if it would be stable once I move
