I have an interview at Salesforce for Java backend MTS, and I have been doing Java development since last year and have been solving DSA in C++ for six years. There will be 2 DSA rounds . What should I do to prepare a DSA in java or C++? HR told me a candidate with DSA skills in java would be preferred and given an edge over me. I have 20 days left for the interview. What should I do? Please help

Chill,
First do DSA in your most comfortable language viz c++
And tell the interviewer that you learnt Java also, and ask him if he wants to evaluate on Java as well.
Tell him you are more confident/comfortable in c++ for this DSA round.
Once your solution in working you can probably try to convert it into Java also side by side, not a big deal.

Hey All,
I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

FYI : checkpoint is starting r&d division in India I will be first person to be hired for the same role.
