What’s it like to start Big Law as a first year in your mid-30s? Are you still relatable to the junior/mid associates in their 20s?
Is reaching out on Linkedin the best way to contact a recruiter, or should I look for their professional email?
Has any RN or healthcare worker gone from bedside/hospital into a tech career/project management? I’m interested in making the switch.

Thank you 😊
For those in the US market, what are your thoughts on King & Spalding vs. Morgan Lewis. I am not in the US now but would be looking to return to the States eventually (probably in 2 to 4 years) so want to know what people in the US think of each in terms of future opportunities that lateraling to K&S or ML would provide. Both are corporate M&A roles.
Anyone have any feedback on if torntoni is a good spot? Been asked there now but never been
Considering an MD position at Accenture and need to give comp expectation, its on Strategy side. Of course its based on my own need and desire, but like to hear from (ex)MDs at Accenture if 400k sounds like a reasonable ask for base. And can anyone help me understand the difference between L4 and L3? For reference, I am a Senior Principal with almost 2 years executive industry experience post consulting. Thanks for any insights!
We made it to the weekend, HR fam! Or in my case, barely made it 😂😬. What are you doing to take care of yourself this weekend? I’ll go first: quiet evening with my husband tonight - may visit a brewery. Then some much needed time in nature tomorrow. We carry heavy burdens for our orgs, often without having a safe place to share our own burdens. I’m cheering all of you on as you make work better every day ❤️

What are your thoughts on a luxury condo in a desirable area (like downtown, the Loop, etc.) versus a single family detached home in a less desirable area? Which would you say would be more worth it?
Could anyone help me in knowing that how can I apply for projects within Capgemini?

Hello, Would love some insights pls! Got an offer for a SCM rotational program after graduation with $63k base in the Midwest area. Is it a good offer? If not, any tips on how to negotiate?
It's incredible how our racist af retail manager has managed to keep a job. HR is aware of this, but nothing has been done to fix this. Anyone else dealing with such mess?
Some of us drivers in the company we work for are striking starting next Monday. We found out our employer has been paying different wages to everyone, but also some drivers haven't been paid in months and our employer just says "oh I wired you the money, not sure what happened". This is insane!
Any books or online courses you would suggest that cover data science solutions for supply chain?
I have two containers that have been stuck at port waiting on rail for over 2 months. Advice for convincing customers that I’m not secretly hoarding their items?
Can anyone help me land a supply chain role with Northrop Grumman in Philly or MD? I have applied for about 60 positions now, some referrals some not, and have not landed an interview. I am beginning to believe my experience just isn't good enough. If anyone is willing to provide a referral, advocate by making a connection to an actual hiring manager, or even just examine my work experience and point me toward the roles to apply for, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks and Happy Holidays.
What state is best to work in logistics? I am thinking somewhere along the coast, but I am not sure where exactly.
Didn't know how lonely this job could get sometimes, makes me wonder why I thought driving a truck across the country was a good idea
Was trucking my load across statelines, as one usually does. Turns out the new guy sitting next to me was never properly trained on how to secure said load inside the truck. Now we're trying to put everything back in it's place and it's so annoying. I don't blame him but still.
I understand why so many cities are trying to limit cars and make their neighborhoods more "walkable," but it really complicates deliveries. No parking spot? Then I can't really make a delivery. Has anyone here ever gotten a ticket for not being in a parking spot while making a delivery?
I’m a junior full-stack developer. What job titles should I be looking at where I can use my skills?
Fellow fishes, do you think suppliers have learned anything from the devastating effects of the pandemic? I guess it just magnified the existing problems in the supply chain. So, what do you think should be top of mind in making supply chains more resilient?
I guess we all here are supply chain & logistics professionals, but I have a curious question today.
If you could go back in time and choose another professional path, what would it be and why?
Hello, looking for a bit of advice. I have applied to about 30 positions in the last two weeks and have not gotten any interviews. I have 7 years of military supply chain experience, plus a year and a half outside of the military. I am an inventory control manager currently, and have applied to positions like demand planner, supply chain manager, supply planner, and other manager positions. Any advice on how to correct my job search?
I have a Bachelors degree unrelated to Supply Chain, about 2 years of experience in the warehouse and I’ve been a Supply Chain Analyst for 8 months. I make 60K currently working in a non-profit organization, but want to increase my salary. What could I do to increase my salary in the next year? Should I get certifications? Change areas I’m currently working in? If so, which areas pay more?
If you had to guess, what will logistics and supply chain look like in the next 10 years?

Definitely seems low!
My current salary or my anticipated future salary? Thanks!
Ohh. Your current base seems too low for someone who has 5yoe. I believe the estimated base pay in Rolls Royce is $93k.
Hi there! You can negotiate your base, OP. Maybe 10-15k more would be reasonable.
