Hey folks
I got a call from TCS to interview for a new unit formed within org with the name of Business Transformation Group as per new org restructuring. Anyone from TCS who can help to understand more about this?
Does it cater to only niche technologies or how does this actually function?

I have applied to several positions up Google. I have not heard anything back at all. No matter if I customize my résumé to the job description I still don’t hear anything back. I am wondering as to why Google ghost people instead of just telling them that they didn’t get the job? Do people on Google believe it is appropriate for the recruiters just a ghost people especially if they feel they don’t match the job?

You should, but don’t expect the process to move faster. It’s not fair, but Google really doesn’t expedite interviews too quickly for anyone - ans it depends when your HC meets when you’ll get an offer. My team only meets every other week (so if you time it incorrectly, you could remain SOL)

Definitely share with the recruiter!
This happened to me... I gave up the other offer to continue process with Google (and it worked out!)
The process here is so long, they can expedite but timeline will still likely force you to make a decision with imperfect information.
I was in this situation back in 2014. Ended up taking the other offer as Google took too long... and then left that 2 months later to join Google. It cost me some relationship points with that employer, so it's not necessarily the best example to follow, but it was worth it!
I did and the process was expedited.
Interesting- I think that’s the first time I’ve heard someone say theirs was expedited
