Hi folks
I wanted a suggestion from you all guys, I have given interview of PS and got a call for offer after interview and I denied the offer as I have received an offer from some other company, I denied coz I was not doing offer shopping or piling offers, he tried to convince me and when I didn't get convinced he said to blacklist me from PS. What to do?
Publicis Sapient
Hi fishes,
Anyone joined coforge recently? Any reviews for the same? Is it worth to join this organisation? They told me they are hiring for Santander bank account but still be having client interview before onboarding to project. Any idea on this account? Is it tough to crack client interview over there? Don't want to face long bench hours like it used to be in Publicis sapient which led to brutal lay off. Kinda sceptical to join as it is giving me Publicis sapient vibes.Coforge Coforge ltd
Why we gotta have resumes, just trust me bro...

I am in same boat.
Although I have two offers but seriously cracking interviews is very tough now a days.
People expect everything to know as you mentioned and there is no limit on concepts(from p value to attention layer maths)
Another thing I have seen is, a lot of panel are in their ego to reject if they don't hear what they know.
I would like to hear from others as well on this.
For now, we can only do one thing which is keep giving interviews.
I appeared for an interview, which was a live coding interview. I was given a Twitter dataset to perform sentiment analysis and draw inferences about the general opinion toward certain products. I used the Vader library for this task and explained to the interviewer that the runtime would be quite high and that my laptop was not capable of handling such a large workload.
In response, he said, "You don't have a GPU?" I said no, and he then stated, "Why are you here wasting my time? In our organization, we deliver within 30 minutes."
This expectation is not merely challenging; it is unrealistic. I didn't get the job, but I learned that even these guys don't know what they are asking.

WTF!!
I have three offers, and worked it out in two rounds. Before NP and after NP.
My current project is related to RAG and GenAI, that helped me crack first offer.
Resigned and used NP to upskill(just reading and understanding deeply the latest tropics which you will come to know in phase I interviews)
Phase II is you design your answers in a way you use trending terms like say multimodal RAG, LLM evaluation, Attention mechanisms etc. Interviewer will fall for these terms and you can win with your preperation. It's playing on your terms.
Sometimes you will have smarter panel, I failed measurably but it's 1/10 probability, so no harm
Yes, If you have work experience in Gen AI then you can crack I guess. In my case I just lost an opportunity because I did not have experience in Gen AI, even though i explained the basics.

I have been giving interviews for past 4 month, I able to crack 3 offers, and I have given interviews for 20+companies in GenAi role and DS, MLE, most of them taken the interview but forget after that even through I manage to solve all questions and given all answers, I don’t understand why they take the interview if they don’t want to hire.
I am an AI Engineer and not recently but I had interviews almost a year ago. I know it's tough and the situation may have been worse recently. The strategy i followed is T shape learning. Gain general knowledge in the listed domains and then have knowledge of 1 in depth. Apart from this, it's ok if you say "i don't know about this topic" to the interviewer. The other suggestion would be having projects in the portfolio which has many topics that you have learned and it shows how you can use it practically.
I understand the pain as I had faced many rejections back then. Just keep note, of things that interviewers ask, after the interview. The most common questions are the ones you should concentrate on and the rest may be extra skills that they were looking for.

On the same boat. It's getting really depressing nowadays 😔
It's a matter of luck these days. If your skills are exactly matching then you might get selected after 2-3 rounds only.
N If not then 6 rounds can't help you
I attended 4-5 DS interviews all ended on positive note, But did not hear back from any expect one, who asked me to send the documents for salary discussion and then ghosted me.
Getting a offer depends on luck it seems.
Classical is boss and will always be, but every organisation is looking for some hand on GenAI currently. early starter advantage.
I am fresher and have been giving interviews for the role of data scientist but still no luck so far most of the role they are asking for an experience. Kindly assist.
At least you are getting call as a fresher. Other freshers are not that lucky.
