I plan to take the test beginning of august. My goal was to complete the video/ chapters/ and do a first go at the questions during my time off.

I interviewed at Amazon for a PM role in Dec. 2020 and was ultimely rejected. I was told I have to wait a year to reapply. Fast forward to June 2022, another recruiter reaches out to me re: a PM role. I pass the screening interview, and move on to the virtual on site interview stage. I randomly get a call from the recruiter telling me there is now a TWO YEAR reapply policy in place so I'm not eligible to interview for any PM roles until Dec. 2022. Anyone ever heard of this policy? Seems strange

Beware a company called apnaklub currently hiring across functions. They are knockoff udaan with zero ideas who somehow managed to get some funding. They will do interviews for 1 month+ and then ghost you totally wasting your time.

Question for yall. How likely is an offer once a company decides to do a reference check? I know I am in the final 2, from context clues in interviews. I just dont want to get my hopes up.

Interviewing for senior audit role at a small tech company, interviewed with 7 people so far. Recruiter ghosts me for 1 month and now she wants me to do more interviews. During the 1 month of ghosting I applied for an internal transfer at EY and have interview next week. If I get the transfer, I’d rather stay at EY - should I decline or accept the tech company’s 8th interview?

Director interview after super day?

Had a super day last week and I thought it went well, partner sent back a nice message to my thank you note. Trying not to read too into it, but is it normal to have an interview with another director after having already interviewed with a director (and a MD)?

I did mention I have interest in a specific area with a director last week and it looks like this next director I’m interviewing primarily works in that area.

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

So took FAR today, felt good about it. For the most part I felt questions were from stuff i ready and felt was easy. Now am not sure if I got everything of it but I also know1/2

California peeps. I have a feeling I failed FAR, which is my last exam, but my score isn’t released until May 11. Can I submit the reapplication with the CA Board of Accountancy to speed up the retake and NTS process in case I failed? Or do I need to get my exam score first? I need to pass by mid June, else my REG score expires, hence the rush to resubmit the re-application.

I’m so happy to say that after about 5 years of being here, I’m finally done with the exam!!! In a world full of internet trolls, it was so refreshing to be on this thread while we all cheered for each other and pushed each other to climb over our failures and discouragements. I took FAR in Aug and AUD last week. Didn’t pass FAR and feeling like I may have passed AUD. My original NTS for them runs out on dec 18. If I get a new NTS for one of them to take before busy season do I have to wait to take it until after my original NTS runs out?

I only have Reg left. I failed it once before. For those who have passed Reg what were some of things you focused on? Also if you have any study tips I would really appreciate it, tax has never come naturally to me.

So Becker was supposed to charge me $600 to update for unlimited access since my account was due to expire in March. I called them in December to make payment. Now 8months later...they reach out to me saying they only charged $35. I just checked my bank statement and they are right but i don't have $600 sitting around...What do i do? Thoughts?
