I’ve been running into weird happenings at my new firm learn of everything “I misunderstood” about my package. I recently switched job and joined another B4 firm. As part of the hiring I was promised with a sign on bonus. Now I have received the sign on bonus twice, in back to back paychecks. I know I have to somehow return the second bonus to the firm. Does anyone know how taxes work on this? As both the bonuses were tax deducted prior to deposit, when I return amount do I need to pay back the withheld taxes to the firm as well? Asking as the amount is big and don’t want to go in the IRS route. TIA.

I applied for EY and PwC for business transformation and management consulting respectively.

My offer for Deloitte expires soon. I emailed both firms on yesterday politely asking if there's an update.
The thing is I'm more attracted to PwC/EY lines i applied to.

Has anyone heard back from these firms? I don't want to burn any bridges w/ Deloitte by accepting and then decline if a better off comes along.

Question for the bowl. Recruiter arranged an interview with a local legal firm for an Office Manager role next week. On paper everything looks great, but the firm has a reputation as being as "ambulance chasers" and for only hiring "good looking young people." I'm really not sure that I would fit in with that work culture.
