I have completed and submitted my PDM and BGV on 5th October. Following then my candidature is on 'interview' stage on IBM career portal.

Now after 60 days HR mailed me that my candidature is on "Business Withhold",They will get back when it's resolved.

Is there still any hope or it is just a false explanation before they will permanently close my candidature.

Does anyone know the best way to switch careers? I have over a year's worth of experience working for an engineering construction firm but I want to get into product design/development for more hands-on work. My previous experience doesn't really apply, so what are some positions that are entry level in that industry that I should be applying to? Seems like everyone wants prior experience, even for the entry level.

Is there irony in the fact that HR and leadership of sales organizations ghost candidates? The very people that stress over prospects disappearing turn around and do the same thing to people they've interviewed 2, 3, or more times.

I'm 4 for 4 this month being ghosted for roles that I'm well qualified for and either advanced in the process or told I would be.

Looking for advice, is it a bad idea to take a chance on an early stage startup (20 FTEs) in our current economy or go for it? I'm currently interviewing for a head of product role, and really torn about the timing.

Added context, they raised about $4M in seed funding and the founders say they're overcommitted for their series A which is currently being closed. I've been in product for 7 years, definitely feel equipped to do the job, but would like to stay at least 1.5-2 years if I do this.

I recently went through an interview process for an investment banking role at a well respected mid market bank. I had two rounds of interviews, and the second round was with two VPs. All interviews went very well - conversation was great, and I got enthusiastic verbal feedback during and at the conclusion of each interview. It’s been three weeks and I have heard nothing, even after 2 follow ups to HR. I saw on LinkedIn they hired 2 people. I assume I got rejected - thoughts? What do I do next?

Hi all. I’m looking for a job to supplement my income. I love my job but quite frankly I’m struggling to keep up with my bills plus daycare for my daughter. I have been interviewing at other places just to get feelers out there but scared to leave b/c of only been at my current role for about 5 months also I really like it there. How long does HCL take to release the offer?

I have taken the interview on 27th July 2022 and next day I got an update that I am selected and I will be connected by HR for further proceedings.

With all details I have shared, I have been told that the approvals are pending and the offer will get released soon.

Now, they have mentioned it will be released next week.
