I have fond memories of watching Army vs. Navy football games on TV as a kid. My cousin is in the Army, so of course I had to go and join the Navy, just keeping that old rivalry going 😁

I love that! I think the Army/Navy football games are the most exciting to watch anyways. I'm so glad they're still showing them on TV.

Glad I am not the only one who had this experience. I was so enamored with everything back then and I just wanted to join any of them in the future. Luckily enough I did.

Who doesn’t love an occasional DONSA when Army wins? I love football and the rivalry thing can be pretty fun. Try going to the game in person sometime. Might change your mind.

I would love to go to the game in person! I like the pageantry and the fact that it celebrates our military. From a football-fan perspective though, it's kind of tough to watch.

Not invested in the game but as a football fan I enjoy the history of it and the triple option offense. No program executes the scheme at a high level as the academies do nowadays.

I love watching those games and my kids now love watching them!

It’s a throwback to old-school football. I like it. By the way, does the Navy allow players to be out of regs during the season? I know the Army doesn't.

It's such a fun day to talk recklessly to each other as family lol. Army-Navy is an amazing game though. It just hits different.

My unpopular opinion is that most of us only care because it’s the branch we serve in and it’s fun to shit talk. It’s not about the game as much as it is about the culture. Good times though.

Good old days!! I hope everything's a healthy competition. Haha.
