This is probably on par to slightly low depending on your area. At 1.5 years, it's either time to look for a promotion internally or jump.
It's definitely well documented that anyone that stays in the same seat for too long will be underpaid.
I don’t know if a single role at the firm that pays that low for a 66 licensed rep. That’s less than 44k a year. What’s your role?
I would take a leap of faith now! Give Fidelity a chance to show you better opportunities and pay
Hey man, you really need to look elsewhere. I finished my first year at a firm that is commission only and made over $325k. You’re being taken advantage of
would you mind shooting me a dm of your position and firm? im interested
My firm pays high 50s for a similar role. Fido’s entry level role doesn’t pay great but gives you opportunities to do other things. If you feel like you’re getting stuck in that role, you can do it elsewhere for more.
If you are in a decent sized city you are likely being paid too little. I work as a teller/banker in DC with no certifications. My salary is more.
You need to get out of the CRA role as of yesterday. Understandably when I started 3-4 years ago they were handing out promotions like candy to CRAs.. not as much anymore it seems. I was in the CRA for just under a year and that was considered a long time back in 2020.
With a 66 you should try ISR or WPA if sales if your goal. If sales isn't your gig there's a LOT more than what is immediately laid out in front of you. Less positions than other common routes, but that also means you'll have a lot less people with the same goals. You just need to talk and network to see what is behind the scenes. Tons of business units that the service side never gets to see but has access to.
The best way to move up in value and increase your salary is always to jump ship
I am not licensed in either and make 20/hr as a relationship banker
