I have received an offer from Deloitte for ‘Project Delivery Senior Anlyst’ position on some technology preferred provider program. It is hire in advance , that means I should get project ‘after joining’.

I have heard PDM is like contract worker, you can get laid off once project ends(just 2 weeks bench). How true is that/how risky it is to join PDM?(considering I am in US on H1B)

I am confused because it’s really better salary than what I make.

How has the experiences for SCs been?
Its been 3 months at Deloitte and trying to find enough reasons to stay back.

My joining date is coming closer, however education background checks are still processing ( international degrees) . My onboarding coordinator told me that I can still join even if education check is still in progress, provided there wont be any flags. I don’t see any issue with my degrees and have done same with my past companies.
Anyone experienced this ? Any problem joining while check is processing ?

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level?
