I have the worst luck ever. I started searching and every firm I talk to is slow or pauses hiring. My current workload is still brutal. How do you job search without burning out?

Talk to a recruiter or start networking with other firms that are in your space. I mean seriously reach out, have a 10 minute call, get advice or talk to them about who they know. It’s going to give you the best results.

That’s one reason why folks turn to recruiters, to offload some of the search stress.

Work with a recruiter so all you have to do is send your materials then show up to interviews. A good recruiter will identify the right firms to consider, but feel free to curate that list. They should also help you with interview prep. Good luck!

Never in my entire career have I had to use a recruiter all of a sudden now …
along with AI … comes the Recruiter world shoved down our throats!

I’ve got a strong successful résumé.
Filled with significant accomplishments in more than one field.
Owning my own companies successfully.
Approved and granted my own vocational college by one of the states that I had my businesses in. Published books, including a Commissioned textbook et al.
(Heavy medical and law background et al.)

I’ve just had two lowlife young women that sounded like they were in their teens.
They took advantage of the fact that they were hired as ‘Recruiters’ as to raise hell with the applicants and act superior…
they were just as nasty as they could be with me… put downs!

Never in my lengthy and successful career life have I ever been treated so badly, so rudely!

They walk away from their abuses feeling superior!

These employers have no idea what they’ve got interviewing people…
And how these recruiters are damaging the reputation of their business because they blindly turn it over to them!

Many with strong resumes who could do great in the positions that they’re applying for, and the applicants have to deal with these ‘bad-actors’ who are calling themselves’Recruiters’

The two that I just recently dealt with were mega abusers… I haven’t run into anything like it in my entire lengthy career life in business.

It was all too obvious that they enjoyed and loved the fact that they were able to be abusive to someone with extensive credentials down… who should be interviewing them.

It’s the truth and something needs to be done about it …
I’ve never been abused in my entire business career … like I got abused by these two female recruiters recently, two different jobs!

I certainly don’t deserve it.
No one does!
I certainly have paid my dues and beyond … I’m a published author and I’ve been the owner of several successful companies, and I was granted my own vocational college in one state and that’s the tip of the iceberg.

Wake up business owners…

It doesn’t make you a bigger deal
to have a Headhunter interview your potential employees …
you’re giving them the opportunity to make or break your business.

You don’t even know who they’re really hiring nor the excellent people that they were nasty with, in the name of your business.

The recruitment of my employees
the final decision always was mine
after I interviewed their background
and personally interviewed them.

I give credit … keeping the reigns on who got hired as one of the aspects of my constant business success.

My businesses were all successful!
Now I’m thrown back in to the pool and it’s not a pool any longer.
It’s quicksand…
(due to the sudden death of my husband)

It ultimately makes the employer who’s using the alleged Headhunter …
who gained their job in the same way everybody else does,
and most of them don’t know a college degree. Nor any real significant business experience to put them in a position to intelligently judge others.

All of a sudden they’re a headhunter…
and they can Lord it over all the applicants and play God …
but at the same time they are playing God over the businesses that they’re hiring people for !!

At this point, the business owner becomes the …victim… along with the poor people who’ve had the unfortunate experience of having to interview with one of these despicable abusive recruiters.

That’s not to say there aren’t some good recruiters out there because there are,
but they’re few and far between
these days…

… we’ve got a flood of alleged
uncredentialed Recruiters that are just on an ego trip!!! and getting paid for it OMG

At the expense of the applicants
and at the expense of the company
they are hiring for
who doesn’t know
how poorly the recruiters are behaving
and how unintelligent they truly are!!

I’ve never had to go through a Recruiter ever in my life… I’m finding out that
most of them are lucky that they can spell their last name …
The one thing they all seem to share in common is a huge ego and they can’t wait to impress it up upon you if you have to interview with them…
they use their jobs as their ego trip!!

I’ve run into two of the nastiest female recruiters.
They sound like they’re 10 years old on the phone …
immediately they started putting me down and trashing me.

It’s unbelievable.
What’s going on in our world now…
AI … robotics and recruiters.. 👹
without any background and without any education treating the rest of us like
dog meat when they interview us !!

There’s gotta be a STOP 🛑
put to this …
and some sanity brought back….
Into our world.

Should I just cancel one of them? Or should I at least put both on the table and see what they say? They're going to hire me either way, but I wonder if it's a bad start to ask for both.
