I have to travel to another country for a 2-month contract but won't be able to take my doggo with me, and I've been devastated for the last few days since I'm leaving in two days. Luckily, I have an amazing friend who is willing to take care of her, so I know she's in good hands. Have you had to leave your dog with someone else for a long period? What did you have to deal with - physically, emotionally, etc? And what did your dog have to deal with? This is my first time, so I'd like to prepare!

My mood has been fluctuating so much lately. Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?

Has anyone ever done aggression training for their dog? Met with a trainer who basically wants us to either keep our dog crated or on a leash at all times and said no pets or play time for now. Our dog has been acting out ever since we brought home our newborn and also bit our groomer. Trainer has me terrified that the dog will hurt the baby but my heart is breaking that I can’t give any “love” to my dog right now. Any similar experiences or thoughts?

Reason is that if you get into a car accident or something happens to you that prevents you from getting home to them, a water dispenser should supply them w several days of water. Dogs can go 5-7 days without food, but will die after 2-3 days without water
