Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance
Anyone worried about layoffs?
Someone should get fired for this

I recently joined nagarro.... was on bench for almost a month as I was not getting project as per my skill set. Recently got one project as per my skillset and cleared client interview also.
But during the time, I was also looking outside for good opportunity, I have one with same package from a product based organization.
What should I do now ? If I resign , would Nagarro release me early or I will have to serve complete notice period?

I'm serving notice period in TCS and my last day is in 2 weeks. I requested for pickup of laptop in the portal but I came to know that it will take time for pickup and I won't be available if they come late. So I decided to go to office and surrender the laptop as I'm in the location of office only. Is there a seperate request to be raised for surrender of laptop and how to cancel the existing request for pickup. Please guide.Tata Consultancy

Might as well just tell the truth. I don’t see how one is really better than the other. Assuming the layoffs weren’t due to performance, I would say they were company-wide or due to restructuring and move along.
If you were laid off twice just say that. There's nothing to be ashamed of in that situation, a lot of people have been through layoffs. If it happened after only a few months on each job you may get some questions about it, as that does seem to be unusually bad luck. Still, it's always best to be honest.
Layoffs happen all the time, so I’d go with that. It’s the cleaner story, and no one will fault you for being on the wrong side of company decisions.
I agree , just say that you got laid off . It happens all the time , and if the company doesn’t want to talk to you because of that , perhaps they are not someone who you want to work for anyway

Just tell the truth. It’s so common these days that it’s definitely not the first time they have heard that from candidates. You’ll also feel better telling the truth.
Be honest.
